OUR TEAM

Hello! I am Walton Li, currently a junior at Archbishop Mitty High School. I founded the San Jose Team HBV Chapter in my freshman year after attending the 2022 Youth Leadership Conference. I realized that social cooperation is an important aspect of establishing disease awareness. Outside of school, I enjoy playing competitive golf, and volunteering at the First Tee Silicon Valley to coach and inspire young players in golf. 

Hello! My name is Jonathan Chen. I am passionate about public health and welfare, and am ready to continue spreading awareness about Hepatitis B prevention. I enjoy volunteering and helping others, and hope to do that at Team HBV. 

Hello! My name is Sahej Mavi and I am a junior at Archbishop Mitty High school. I look forward to spreading awareness of Hepatitis B and liver cancer, so more people will become cautious of what they consume to avoid these diseases. Helping people is something I enjoy and I love how this is another way for me to do that. In my free time, I like to bake, anything from bagels and croissants to three-tiered cakes, to volunteer, and to hike. Feel free to ask any questions! And I cannot wait to meet you all at our events! 

Hello! My name is Lucas Choi, and I am a senior at Archbishop Mitty High School. In 2022, I joined the San Jose Team HBV Chapter as a founding member. Afterwards, I participated in the Stanford Youth Leadership Conference in 2024 and won the team challenge. I am dedicated to spreading awareness of the potency of HBV, especially in the AAPI community. I look forward to collaborating and helping others through Team HBV.
